Sounding of the gong for Dutch Technology Week 2018

In the run-up to the 7th edition of the Dutch Technology Week Frits van Hout, chairman of the steering committee of the Dutch Technology Week and member of ASML Executive Board, opens trading.

The Dutch Technology Week takes place from 4 to 9 June with more than 50 events on the theme of technology, such as the Technology Festival Night of the Nerds, the science & technology Quiz Night XL for professionals and students and the High Tech Discovery Route, the open day for the general public. The events are organized and made possible by more than 100 financial and event partners.

The high-tech industry is an important sector for the Dutch economy. The sector contributes to the development of solutions for social issues and often delivers top performances. To celebrate this companies, governments and knowledge institutions work together on a week full of technological surprises. During the Dutch Technology Week everyone can see, feel and experience how promising and challenging it is to cooperate in inventions that change the world.
