First listing of TINC in Brussels

As of 12 May 2015, the infrastructure investment company TINC is listed on Euronext Brussels. To celebrate this event, Jean-Pierre Blumberg, Chairman of the Board, opened the markets with a Bell Ceremony together with Manu Vandenbulcke, CEO. Jean-Pierre Blumberg had the honor to write the first opening price on the blackboard.

TINC raised €110M in a successful IPO on Euronext Brussels. The reference price was fixed at €11. Market cap amounts to €141M on the day of its introduction.

World Wish Day

Bell ceremony to celebrate World Wish Day

On Wednesday 29 April 2015, Euronext celebrates World Wish Day with the Make-A-Wish Foundation on all its locations.

On this occasion,Baroness Marie-Christine de Corswarem, Honorary President and founder, rang the Opening Bell in Brussels in the presence of representatives of Make-A-Wish Belgium.

Make-A-Wish is an international association which since 1980 realizes the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions and would like to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.  Make-A-Wish Foundation is a non-profit association who is present in over 35 countries around the world. Make-a-Wish Belgium celebrates its 25^th anniversary this year.

Biocartis

As of 27 April 2015, the company Biocartis is listed in Brussels. To celebrate this event, CEO and founder, Rudi Pauwels, opened the markets with a Bell Ceremony. Hilde Windels, CFO and general manager, had the honor to write the first opening price on the blackboard.

Biocartis raised €100M in an oversubscribed successful IPO on Euronext Brussels. The reference price was fixed at €11.50. Market cap amounts to €450.2M on the day of its introduction.

The IPO of Biocartis on Euronext Brussels is the largest Life Sciences transaction this year on the European markets, and ranks amongst the 10 largest IPO’s the last 10 years on Euronext Brussels.

Biocartis specializes in the development of molecular diagnostic systems. Especially for the treatment of cancers and infectious diseases, the products ensure the analysis of biomolecules associated with risk factors, early detection, treatment selection and monitoring of disease. World Autism Awareness Day

Bell Ceremony in honor of World Autism Awareness Day:

On Thursday 2 April 2015 Euronext celebrated World Autism Awareness Day with a Global Bell Ringing in most of its locations (Amsterdam, Lisbon and Brussels).

For this special day, Alda Greoli, Head of Cabinet of Maxime Prévot, Vice-Minister President of the Walloon Government, rang the Opening Bell  at Euronext Brussels. Representatives of Autism-Europe, Vlaamse Vereniging Autisme and APEPA! were present as well on the podium of the Bell Ceremony.

This day is also marked by the 5th Light It Up Blue campaign, a global initiative where over 2000 iconic buildings and landmarks across the world areilluminated in blue to raise awareness for Autism.

On 26 March 2015, Euronext Brussels celebrated the winners of the Morningstar Awards Belgium.
