It is International Women’s Day today! Enaam Ahmed Ali, Board Member of UN Women the Netherlands, sounded the gong on this occasion. She did this together with Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam, and Marianne Brackel, Committee Member of Women in ETFs. The International Women’s Day 2021 theme is: “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world’’.

Renewi is listed on Euronext Amsterdam for 1 year. To celebrate this special moment, Otto de Bont, CEO of Renewi, sounded the gong this morning. He was accompanied by amongst others René van Vlerken, Head of Listing of Euronext Amsterdam en Baukje Dreimuller, Legal Counsel of Renewi. Renewi listed successfully on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange on 30 January 2020.

CM.com is listed on Euronext Amsterdam for 1 year. To celebrate this special moment, Gilbert Gooijers, COO of CM.com, sounded the gong this morning. He was accompanied by amongst others René van Vlerken, Head of Listing of Euronext Amsterdam. CM.com listed successfully on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange last year by a fusion with the Special Purpose Acquisition (SPAC) Dutch Star Companies One. It was the first SPAC-listing on Euronext Amsterdam.

Rize ETF celebrates today the listing of three ETF’s on Euronext. Jason Kennard, co-founder of Rize ETF, sounded the gong for this cause from safe distance. He was virtually joined by amongst others Thomas Weber, ETFs Business Development Manager at Euronext. The listed ETF’s are Cybersecurity, Edtech en Sustainable food.

Hans Slootweg, Managing Director of ESG Core Investments, was welcomed by Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, CEO Euronext Amsterdam. Van Roij sounded the gong on the occasion of the listing of ESG Core Investments, a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) with a strong focus on Environment, Social and Governance (ESG). It is the first SPAC-listing on Euronext this year.

UBS Asset Management celebrated today that they have been offering ETFs for twenty years. Marcel Danen, Executive Director of UBS, sounded the gong from a safe distance, in the presence of Brieuc Louchard, among others, who is responsible for ETFs within Euronext. Ten years ago, UBS launched its first sustainable ETF. Since five years several ETFs have been listed on the Amsterdam stock exchange.

Alexander Voorham, account manager Listings of Euronext Amsterdam, sounded the gong as kick-off of the TechShare Netherlands programme 2020-2021. TechShare is the educational programme of Euronext for Tech entrepreneurs. It familiarizes them with the financial capital markets. 

On World Cancer Day we raise awareness for cancer patients more than usual. Euronext’s communication manager Marianne Aalders sounded the gong this morning together with Dick Plomp, peer supporter on behalf of the Dutch Federation of Cancer Patient Organisations.

The company Somnox, known from their sleeping robot, is the winner of the 15^th edition of the Chamber of Commerce’s Innovation Top 100. Alexander Voorham, account manager Listings of Euronext Amsterdam, sounded the gong on this occasion on behalf of Somnox’ CEO Julian Jagtenberg. 

Marieke Bax, Non-Executive Director of InPost S.A. sounded the gong in the presence of Rafał Brzoska, CEO of InPost S.A. The hybrid ceremony took place on the occasion of the Listing and first day of trading of InPost S.A. on Euronext Amsterdam.

Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, CEO Euronext Amsterdam, sounded the gong on behalf of the Dutch general practitioners. The sounding of the gong marks the special moment, as general practitioners start the vaccination of elderly and mentally handicapped against COVID-19 in the Netherlands.

Robin van Rijn, Client Relationship Manager the Netherlands, virtually sounded the gong on behalf of Raj Sheth, Sales Director Leverage Shares, on the occasion of the Listings of 40 ETPs on Euronext Amsterdam.

Simone Huis in ’t Veld, CEO Euronext Amsterdam, virtually sounded the gong and opened the first trading day of 2021 together with Euronext Amsterdam employees.

He sounded the gong on the occasion of Dutch Star Companies TWO SPAC Listing on Euronext Amsterdam. It’s the 2^nd SPAC listing by Dutch Star Companies on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.

Jacques van den Broek, CEO and Chair of the Executive Board Randstad N.V., is welcomed by Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, CEO Euronext Amsterdam, to celebrate 60-year existence of Randstad N.V. Randstad has grown from start-up to the biggest global HR service provider. Furthermore, Randstad is Listed on Euronext Amsterdam for 30 years.
