Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We’re seeking a results-driven Senior Business Manager Clearing to join our Clearing team in Paris. You will report to the Clearing CEO. 

You will be primarily responsible for:

Performance & Analytics

  • Structuring and consolidating CCP key performance indicators across risk, operations, revenues and costs

  • Monitoring volumes, revenues and cost dynamics, identifying key performance drivers

  • Developing forward-looking analyses linking strategic initiatives and risk model changes to economic outcomes

  • Improving the clarity and consistency of performance reporting at Executive and Board level

Governance & Regulatory Coordination

  • Coordinating preparation of recurring governance forums (Board, EMIR Colleges, Regulatory steering committees)

  • Structuring and anticipating production of key recurring deliverables (IOSCO disclosures, Risk Appetite Framework, IMF/ECB requests, client due diligence questionnaires)

  • Establishing a structured annual governance calendar to reduce ad hoc and reactive processes

CEO Decision Support

  • Providing data-driven insights to support strategic and organisational decisions for the CEO

  • Identifying trade-offs and execution risks across Product, LOD1 Risk and Operations

  • Preparing high-quality executive materials for internal and external stakeholders

Cross-Functional Execution, Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Supporting transversal transformation initiatives and execution tracking

  • Identifying overlaps, inefficiencies or structural gaps across teams

  • Strengthening performance monitoring discipline in a more competitive clearing environment

  • Driving innovation by proposing and implementing new tools, processes or digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency, data analysis and reporting

  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and encouraging the adoption of best practices and emerging technologies within the clearing team

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, digitisation and innovative approaches to clearing operations

Success Metrics (12–18 months):

  • Establish a coherent and transparent KPI framework linking volumes, revenues, risk efficiency and operational metrics

  • Improve the quality, consistency and forward-looking nature of executive and Board materials

  • Reduce reactive reporting through structured governance planning

  • Increase clarity and visibility on strategic initiative execution

  • Provide proactive insights on market structure evolution and competitive dynamics

Your profile:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, market infrastructure, or financial services strategy/performance roles

  • Experience navigating matrix organisations and multicultural environments

  • Strong exposure to capital markets is required; experience in post-trade, clearing or risk-related environments is a plus

  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret volumes, revenues, pricing and risk dynamics

  • Advanced Excel and strong data analysis skills

  • Ability to structure complex information clearly and concisely

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders

  • Structured, rigorous, proactive and intellectually curious

  • High ownership mindset, autonomous and motivated to grow towards a senior leadership role

  • Comfortable operating in a challenging and fast-moving environment
