Substantive Research is looking for analytical, dynamic salespeople to join its team in London,

covering both North America as well as Europe. This is an opportunity to join the core team at

a newly acquired startup, combining the opportunities of a high growth company with the

support and backing of a global financial institution. The package will include salary plus

performance-related commission.

To take the company to the next exciting stage we are looking for an experienced salesperson

who can combine knowledge, discipline, charm and tenacity to close deals, create awareness,

and grow relationships.

This role is well suited to individuals who thrive in an environment that encourages autonomy, streamlined decision-making, and a growth mindset, with the ability to balance thoughtful risk-taking with strong attention to detail.

An understanding of the market data and/or investment research markets would be highly

beneficial.

Key Accountabilities

· Manage, grow and close a pipeline of leading asset management firms and banks across

Europe and the Americas (primarily the US).

· Identify new target firms and establish new relationships at existing clients

· Evolve and maintain a central resource of sales and marketing content and materials

· Work closely with Marketing on the overall campaign process, from list management to

funnel management into the CRM

· Understand the research and data requirements/procurement approaches of financial

institutions across regions.

· Work closely with the product management team to enhance the products and services

based on feedback from clients and targets.

Qualifications

● Education: Bachelor and/or Master degree

● Language: Fluent in English

● Background: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a sales role in market data, investment

research, fintech or financial services.
