Week of Regional Entrepreneurship – BOM

Back

From 19 August to 26 August, the gong ceremony at Beursplein 5 focuses on the activity and entrepreneurship in the various regions in the Netherlands. Euronext has invited the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Regional Development Companies to put their work in the spotlight during the Week of Regional Entrepreneurship.

The Brabant Development Agency (BOM) sounds the gong at Euronext Amsterdam to highlight the unprecedented investment opportunities in the Brabant region. Miriam Dragstra, Director of BOM Capital, has the honor to open trading.

BOM is an economic development agency that has been established in 1983 to help businesses in Brabant grow, so they can contribute to the economic strength of the region.
The Brabant Development Agency (BOM) endeavors to promote an innovative and resilient economy in the Dutch province of Brabant, giving the region a lasting competitive edge in a rapidly globalizing world. The emphasis in this policy is focused on the top economic clusters, crossovers between these clusters, and linking these clusters to social issues.

Hans Leufkens, Head of Client Coverage EnterNext: ''The Regional  Economic Development Agencies are extremely important for the growth of the Dutch economy and the acceleration of innovation.'' The exchange and entrepreneurship have gone hand in hand for over 400 years. Euronext plays an important role in financing the real economy. With its subsidiary EnterNext it supports entrepreneurs in their growth - along with industry partners - to develop funding initiatives in the form of loans and bonds to increase visibility of listed, medium-sized enterprises.
