Sounding of the gong announces arrival of Volvo Ocean Race Team Brunel

Brunel founder Jan Brand announces the arrival of Team Brunel in the Volvo Ocean Race to The Hague by sounding the gong. It marks the fortieth anniversary of Brunel (ticker symbol: BRNL) and the return of Team Brunel Netherlands.

For the third time in its history, Brunel is the proud title sponsor of a team in the Volvo Ocean Race, the most prestigious sailing race around the world. A struggle between man and nature in its purest and competitive form. On 18, 19 and 20 June, the largest sailing event in the world will moor at The Hague/Scheveningen before the teams set sail to Gothenburg for the final leg of this year's race.

There are many activities around the harbor and at the Zuiderstrand Theatre in Scheveningen during the three-day Volvo Ocean Race Festival The Hague, including the possibility to admire the spectacular racing boat of Team Brunel.
