Role Profile:
Within the Risk & Compliance department, a team of more than 40 talented professionals in Risk, Business Continuity Management, Internal Control and Compliance, spread across our various geographies, is ensuring to preserve the value assets and reputation of the company. Identifying and assessing risks, implementing mitigation actions, informing and raising staff and business awareness, monitoring and ensuring compliance with the appropriate regulations are the core activities embedded in our team.
In this department, Operational Risk & Business Continuity Management (BCM) team is covering the second line of defense function on Risk for IT, Cybersecurity, Human Resources, Procurement and other transversal departments, as well as maintaining the appropriate Business Continuity maturity in the group. The stakeholders are located in all Euronext entities (Paris, Porto, Milan, Oslo, New York, Dublin, Copenhagen…).
We are seeking a proactive and structured Resilience Officer to strengthen Euronext’s operational resilience framework and ensure our organization remains prepared, responsive, and adaptive to potential disruptions.
The position covers the five key pillars of our resilience strategy: Governance & Strategy, Preparedness & Safety, Response & Recovery, Monitoring & Dependencies Alignment, and Risk Intelligence.
You will play a key role in developing and maintaining Business Continuity and Crisis Management capabilities, supporting digital testing initiatives, optimizing Risk and BCM tools, and contributing to the group’s resilience reporting and oversight.
Key responsabilities
1. Governance & Strategy
- Support the implementation of the Euronext Group Resilience Framework and ensure alignment with Group policies and regulatory requirements (including DORA, ISO 22301).
- Ensure close collaboration with BCM Managers across all Euronext entities to maintain a consistent and efficient approach to resilience.
- Participate in financial sector and local authority working groups to align Euronext’s practices with industry standards.
2. Preparedness & Safety
- Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) campaigns for assigned business areas and support the update of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs).
- Design, prepare, and/or facilitate crisis management exercises and simulations at local and group levels.
- Drive awareness sessions and training programs to staff and dedicated functions
- Support the monitoring and improvement of physical safety standards and plans.
3. Response & Recovery
- Support the maintenance, activation, and continuous improvement of the Euronext resilience plan (DR, Crisis plan, BCP).
- Contribute to the management and coordination of crisis responses.
4. Monitoring
- Support the Digital Operational Testing Strategy, providing guidance and oversight for IT, cybersecurity, and business continuity testing activities aligned with DORA requirements.
- Assist IT and non-IT teams in defining test parameters based on critical assets identified through the BIA and risk assessments.
- Develop KPIs and conduct maturity assessments to monitor the organization’s resilience posture.
5. Risk Intelligence
- Contribute to monitoring emerging risks and external threats that may impact business operations or critical services.
- Provide analytical insights from incidents, testing results, and maturity assessments to inform management decisions.
Skills and Experiences:
Education and Experience
- Higher education in Risk management, crisis management, geopolitics, political sciences, or cybersecurity, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in related jobs
- Entry-level knowledge of IT systems, cybersecurity concepts, and business continuity management frameworks.
- Familiarity with standards and best practices such as ISO 223001, ISO 27001, NIST
- Understanding of financial regulation (e.g., MIFID, DORA, NIS 2) is a plus.
Skills and Competencies
- Fluent in English (daily use); French is a nice-to-have.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of resilience frameworks and standards (ISO 22301, DORA, NIST).
- Autonomy, proactivity, and ability to summarize complex information.
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities, especially in cross-functional contexts.
- Proficiency with BCM tools and data analysis (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and entities.
