Euronext’s Technology & Operations teams cover a wide range of activities, including the operation of trading platforms and post-trade platforms, one Clearing House and four CSDs (prior to the integration of ATHEX). The IT function is responsible for designing, developing and testing new features and solutions to respond to the business and clients’ needs. IT also designs and builds the infrastructure that the company runs on and ensures that systems, infrastructure and market platforms are up and running.

IT teams provide end-to-end technology support across the Group, comprising approximately 800 staff primarily located in Milan, Porto, Paris, and the Nordics. They are organized into two main groups: IT Business Lines, which provide dedicated support to each core business, and IT Transversal Teams, including Infrastructure and Information Security.

The Euronext Technology & Support Centre

The ambition of the new Euronext Technology & Support Centre is to build a strong team in Greece that will support the Business Lines, IT, and Operations functions across the Group.

In its initial phase, the Centre will focus on two key initiatives:

• Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) Development Team: We will establish an in-house team responsible for developing and supporting Euronext’s Graphical User Interfaces, which are currently managed by an external provider.

• IT Clearing Test Factory: We will create an in-house Test Factory to support the Clearing House based in Italy. Euronext Clearing is a multi-asset-class clearing house that provides proven risk management capabilities for Euronext’s cash, financial and commodity derivatives markets. As the central counterparty (CCP) of choice for Euronext markets, it ensures the efficient and safe functioning of the markets.

Initial roles within the Centre will include Backend Developers, UI Developers, Business Analysts, Application Managers, and QA Engineers.

Role and key responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Technology & Support Centre in Athens, with a dotted line to the Head of Test Factory at Euronext Clearing, the QA Manager plays a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of mission-critical clearing systems. You will lead a growing QA team composed of QA automation engineers and manual QA engineers, supporting complex clearing environments with extensive test automation coverage. Operating in an international and distributed context, you will interact with multiple stakeholders and continuously adopt industry best practices, test automation advancements and AI-driven testing approaches.

You will be primarily responsible for:

• Leading, managing and developing a team of QA automation engineers and manual QA engineers

• Defining and executing the QA strategy, ensuring alignment with business and technology goals

• Overseeing test planning, execution and reporting across multiple projects and releases

• Ensuring adoption of best practices in test automation, manual testing and QA processes

• Driving the evolution of the test automation framework and overall QA ecosystem

• Promoting and integrating AI-driven testing approaches and tools within QA processes

• Monitoring team performance, providing coaching and supporting professional development

• Ensuring proper test coverage, risk assessment and quality metrics tracking

• Collaborating with development, product and operations teams in an agile and distributed environment

• Managing priorities, workload distribution and scaling of the QA team over time

• Ensuring consistent use of version control, code review practices and CI/CD pipelines

• Contributing to troubleshooting, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

Knowledge, Personality, Skills and Experience Required

• At least five years of experience as a test manager or similar role in a well-established organisation operating in agile environments

• At least five years of hands-on experience in test automation, with exposure to modern frameworks and scalable automation strategies

• Strong background in software testing and quality assurance methodologies

• Significant experience with Playwright test automation framework (strongly preferred), or equivalent modern frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium

• Understanding of UI, API (REST/GraphQL) and end-to-end testing strategies

• Familiarity with test automation at scale in complex enterprise environments

• Strong interest or experience in AI-driven testing approaches, large language models and prompt engineering

• Good understanding of relational databases and strong knowledge of SQL, including complex queries and data validation techniques

• Advanced knowledge of Git workflows and code review practices

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins or equivalent tools)

• Strong experience with Jira and Jira Xray for test management and tracking

• Good knowledge of Confluence for documentation and collaboration

• Experience working in agile environments

• Proven experience in team leadership and people management

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work effectively in international and distributed teams

• Proactive mindset with a strong orientation to innovation and best practices

• University degree in computer science, software engineering or related fields (mandatory)

• Fluent English and Greek, both written and spoken (mandatory).
