You will join a dynamic and international environment where innovation, quality and collaboration are central to our operations. You will have the opportunity to shape the direction of a major trading platform and play a key role in the development and diversification of MTS within Euronext.
The Euronext Technology & Support Centre
The ambition of the new Euronext Technology & Support Centre is to build a strong team in Greece that will support the Business Lines, IT, and Operations functions across the Group.
In its initial phase, the Centre will focus on two key initiatives:
Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) Development Team: We will establish an in-house team responsible for developing and supporting Euronext’s Graphical User Interfaces, which are currently managed by an external provider.
IT Clearing Test Factory: We will create an in-house Test Factory to support the Clearing House based in Italy.
Initial roles within the Centre will include Backend Developers, UI Developers, Business Analysts, Application Managers, and QA Engineers.
Role and key responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Technology & Support Centre in Athens, with a dotted line to the Head of Software Factory at MTS, the MTS GUI Team Lead will lead the design and delivery of the new web-based graphical user interface (GUI) for our fixed income electronic trading platforms. You will coordinate the local team and liaise with technical product owners in the central MTS IT team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technical direction of a complex trading environment and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
You will be primarily responsible for:
Owning the technical direction of the new web GUI, ensuring scalability, performance and maintainability for a complex trading environment
Leading a team of frontend and backend engineers in the design, implementation and testing of web applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
Mentoring and coaching local team members, supporting their professional growth and fostering a collaborative culture
Collaborating closely with the CTO of MTS, Head of the Software Factory, project managers and technical product owners in the MTS IT team, providing estimates, technical risk assessments and progress updates
Translating functional and UX requirements into clear technical designs, APIs and implementation plans, including decisions on frameworks, libraries and patterns
Establishing and enforcing coding standards, code review practices and development processes (branching strategy, pull requests, definition of done, testing strategy)
Ensuring high code quality through automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) and supporting QA in building and maintaining regression suites
Collaborating with external vendors and professional service providers on component libraries, integration points and delivery milestones
Working closely with DevOps/platform MTS teams and Euronext IT transversal teams to define CI/CD pipelines, build processes and deployment strategies for the web front end and related services
Contributing to technical documentation, architecture diagrams and knowledge transfer material to ensure long-term maintainability
Supporting incident analysis and production issues related to the new GUI, coordinating with central support and operations teams when needed.
This list is non-exhaustive and may vary according to strategic priorities of the group.
