KVK Innovation Top 100 – SenseGlove

SenseGlove, based in the city of Delft, has won first place in the 17^th edition of the KVK Innovation Top 100.

Rania Karoui, Operations Manager at SenseGlove sounded the Gong this morning in celebration of winning this title.

The company has developed a glove, a "robot hand," that allows the user to touch, feel and manipulate a virtual object as if it were real.

KVK publishes this ranking of 100 practical innovations by SMEs annually.

The group was welcomed by René van Vlerken, Head of Listing at Euronext Amsterdam.

MMX Trading – Method Investments

During 2022, Method Investments and MMX Trading were merged. MMX Trading is a Dutch market maker, based at Beursplein 5, with experience trading in many European markets. Method Investments is an independent firm serving institutional investors, corporations and family offices. MMX will be an important asset in Method's strategy to combine experience and expertise in their portfolio and Asset Management. By joining the Method Investments Group, MMX will have the opportunity to explore opportunities worldwide with Method's international network and infrastructure.

IEX Group – Publication of IEX Expert Magazine

Listed on Euronext Amsterdam since 2016, IEX Group, based in Beursplein 5, has grown in recent years in the Dutch investment information field.

Today, their team celebrated the launch of IEX Expert magazine, providing the latest developments, interviews and background stories to enhance investor insight.

Peter Paul de Vries, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of IEX Group, sounded the Gong today in celebration of the occasion.

First trading day of 2023 | With confidence toward the future

As per tradition, the sound of the Gong echoed over the trading floor at Beursplein 5 for the first time in 2023. A Gong that Euronext Amsterdam traditionally dedicates to all its business partners and stakeholders.

Invest-NL is the National Investment and Development Institution that, as an impact investor, focuses on "making fundable what seems unfundable’’. Invest-NL focuses primarily on major social issues such as the transition to a carbon neutral and circular economy, affordable and accessible healthcare and deep tech.

Today the Invest-NL team celebrated having invested €600 million in a more sustainable and innovative Netherlands. Leo Holwerda, Invest-NL's Director of Capital, sounded the gong on this occasion.

Brunel Foundation – 10-year anniversary

The Brunel Foundation is celebrating its tenth anniversary and co-founders Femke Dijkstra and Maritska Aarts have sounded the Gong today to mark the occasion.

DoubleDividend - Run4schools

Today, DoubleDividend sounded the Gong together with the Run4Schools Foundation.

The sustainable investment funds managed by DoubleDividend, DD Equity Fund, DD Income Fund and DD Alternative Fund N.V. are listed on Euronext Amsterdam, and this Gong draws attention to the runners of the Run4Schools Foundation. The runners will take on the challenge of the 56 kilometres of the Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town on 15 April 2023.

CSR Manager of the Year 2022

Marije Klomp, Sustainability Program Director at Radboud University, has been named as 2022 CSR Manager of the Year and sounded the gong for this occasion.

The CSR Manager of the Year election has been organised since 2012. The purpose of the election is to provide additional recognition of the efforts and results of enthusiastic CSR managers.

ABN AMRO - Circular economy

To draw attention to the importance of the circular economy, Sylvia Booms, Head of Supplier Management at ABNN AMRO, sounded the gong today, together with ABN AMRO’s partners Facilicom and KRNWTR.

ABN AMRO, which has been listed on Euronext Amsterdam since 2015, aims to produce no residual waste by 2030 as part of its circular ambitions. For example, tap water has recently been served everywhere in the offices, thanks to the collaboration with the Dutch company KRNWTR.

Unilever – 95 listing anniversary

Today, the 95^th listing anniversary of Unilever was celebrated by sounding the gong. Unilever is a multinational food, personal care and cleaning products company.

Today, StoneX attended the Gong Ceremony to celebrate their launch of StoneX Plus and Farm Advantage.

Today, Saxo Bank celebrated their 300^th anniversary at Beurspein 5 by sounding the gong. Saxo Bank invited Deviem Vermogensadvies on this occasion to simultaneously celebrate its own first anniversary.

Launch of Goldman Sachs Warrants & Certificates activity in France

On 25 November 2022, Goldman Sachs representatives were at Euronext Paris to celebrate the launch of the company’s Warrants & Certificates activity on the French market, that happened earlier this year.

By entering the French business, Goldman Sachs have become the issuer offering the widest range of W&C on Euronext, and therefore contribute to provide investors with more diversified W&C to trade.

ClimateLaunchpad

Emilie Bronsing, programme leader of ClimateLaunchpad, sounded the gong today to celebrate the success of this edition of ClimateLaunchpad.

ClimateLaunchpad is a competition for green companies, which this year saw over 600 green companies from 59 countries guided and trained, from idea to business plan. The company also celebrated the success of the 16 start-ups in the ClimAccelerator programme.

Young Captain Award 2022

Marleen Smits, Commercial Manager Convenience Retailing Benelux & France at SHELL, was last night elected Young Captain 2022. She celebrated her win by sounding the gong today in the presence of her team.

This year saw the award presented for the 18^th time to the most talented young business leader at the top of the business community. Marleen received the award from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate at an event at the High Light at Capital C in Amsterdam.

Exchange Drumming 2022

This morning, a new trading day on Euronext Amsterdam opened with more noise than usual. More than 100 children drummed happily from the trading floor during the traditional ‘Exchange Drumming’.

Exchange Drumming is a tradition that was started 400 years ago, after an orphan boy managed to prevent the Amsterdam Stock Exchange building from being blown up by Spaniards during the Eighty Years’ War. As a thank you, his wish was granted and he, together with other orphans, was allowed to drum in the Stock Exchange building.

Today, 400 years later, more than 100 Amsterdam school children continue this tradition, and they came – drumming – to take a look behind the scenes at the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.  

Economics Education Week 2022

Today is the official start of Economics Education Week. In this week, education professionals in the economic education of secondary education, mbo, hbo and wo are given tools and inspiration for making economics education sustainable, inclusive and future-proof.

Giuseppe van der Helm, director at Coöperatie Leren voor Morgen and SDG4 Alliantie coordinator of the Netherlands, sounded the gong to celebrate this initiative.
