Gongslag Amsterdamse beurs voor Wintertijd Challenge
De gongslag op de Amsterdamse beurs kondigt de Wintertijd Challenge aan, een jaarlijks fondsenwervend sportevenement van Stichting Spieren voor Spieren. Ambassadeur en hockeyinternational Eva de Goede luidt samen met Dean Dussenbroek, een jongen van 8 met de spierziekte Ataxie van Friedreich, de gong.
In de nacht dat de wintertijd ingaat, wordt er op zoveel mogelijk plaatsen in Nederland 1 uur en 1 seconde gesport om geld in te zamelen voor onderzoek naar spierziekten bij kinderen en de verbetering van het diagnose- en behandelingstraject. In 2014 was de opbrengst maar liefst € 350.000. Dit jaar wordt er op ruim 135 locaties gesport en zet Nederland massaal zijn gezonde spieren in voor zieke spieren.
