Gong voor winnaar CBS-ConjuctuurBekerStrijd 2019
Vwo-leerlingen van het Montaigne Lyceum hebben dit schooljaar de ConjunctuurBekerStrijd 2019 gewonnen, de landelijke economiewedstrijd van het CBS. Ter ere daarvan mag Bram Boers de gongslag verrichten en daarmee de handel op de Amsterdamse beurs openen.
CBS ConjuctuurBekerStrijd
Om het gebruik van statistiek in het voortgezet onderwijs te bevorderen, heeft het CBS de ConjunctuurBekerStrijd in het leven geroepen. Dat is een wedstrijd waarbij leerlingen van de bovenbouw havo en vwo met economie in hun profiel de ontwikkeling van de Nederlandse economie voorspellen.
Het Montaigne Lyceum
Het Haagse Montaigne Lyceum herbergt verschillende opleidingen: gymnasium, atheneum, havo, mavo en vmbo. Dat leerlingen met verschillende talenten samen naar dezelfde school gaan vindt het Montaigne Lyceum een belangrijk sociaal streven. Daarnaast vergemakkelijkt het de doorstroom. Zo komen ook laatbloeiers tot hun recht.
