Open positions at Euronext

Join Euronext - Shape capital markets for future generations.

Euronext is the leading European capital market infrastructure, covering the entire capital markets value chain, from listing, trading, clearing, settlement and custody, to solutions for issuers and investors. Euronext runs MTS, one of Europe’s leading electronic fixed income trading markets, and Nord Pool, the European power market. Euronext also provides clearing and settlement services through Euronext Clearing and its Euronext Securities CSDs in Denmark, Italy, Norway and Portugal. In November 2025, Euronext successfully acquired a majority stake in the Athens Stock Exchange (ATHEX), further expanding its footprint and strengthening its pan-European market infrastructure.

As of December 2025, Euronext’s regulated exchanges in Belgium, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway and Portugal host over 1,700 listed issuers with €6.7 trillion in market capitalisation, a strong blue-chip franchise and the largest global centre for debt and fund listings. With a diverse domestic and international client base, Euronext handles 25% of European lit equity trading. Its products include equities, FX, ETFs, bonds, derivatives, commodities and indices.

Euronext’s Technology & Operations teams cover a wide range of activities, including the operation of trading platforms and post-trade platforms, one Clearing House and four CSDs (prior to the integration of ATHEX). The IT function is responsible for designing, developing and testing new features and solutions to respond to the business and clients’ needs. IT also designs and builds the infrastructure that the company runs on and ensures that systems, infrastructure and market platforms are up and running.

IT teams provide end-to-end technology support across the Group, comprising approximately 800 staff primarily located in Milan, Porto, Paris, and the Nordics. They are organized into two main groups: IT Business Lines, which provide dedicated support to each core business, and IT Transversal Teams, including Infrastructure and Information Security.

The Euronext Technology & Support Centre

1. Data and Operations Manager, Rankings

Bangalore · Full-time · UK working hours overlap

1.1About the role

We are building a new analyst rankings product for the equity research industry. The product turns buy-side evaluation data into objective, defensible rankings of sell-side analysts, replacing a long-standing incumbent that the industry has outgrown. We are pre-MVP today, with a public launch planned for later this year, and the team you will join is small, senior, and London-based.

This role leads our Bangalore operations team. You will manage three associates/analysts and own the day-to-day running of the operational engine that produces the rankings, and act as the senior operational point of contact in India.

We are looking for someone who will look at how we currently do things, decide what the best version of the process should be, and build it - with documentation that outlasts any individual. The role will involve communication, curiosity, analytical judgement and leadership.

1.2What you will own

1.2.1Leading the team

  • Critically review every operational process you inherit. Decide what the best version looks like, implement it, and document it so a new joiner can run it without you in the room.
  • Manage and develop three team members. Set the bar for analytical rigour and follow-through. Coach, review, unblock.

1.2.2Communication

  • Hold data-quality conversations with client technical and operations contacts without London supervision: clarifying submitted data, explaining how the rankings are produced in plain language, walking through validation findings, and agreeing remediation steps.
  • Communicate findings clearly to the London team and other colleagues - concise written notes, simple visuals, a sharp summary of what changed and why it matters. Interpretation, not data dumps.

1.2.3Operational delivery

  • Submission operations: tracking buy-side submissions end-to-end, first-pass validation, flagging missing or implausible inputs, escalating clearly and early.
  • Data preparation and scoring: cleaning, normalising and structuring submitted datasets; applying scoring logic; re-running scoring as inputs evolve; producing diagnostics and worked examples.
  • Maintain the analyst and firm directory and the rules that govern it: sector and coverage logic, analyst moves, roster locks and transfers.
  • Track delivery across the operational pipeline - submissions in flight, processing status, blockers, deadlines and report it cleanly to London on a weekly cadence.
  • Keep the data honest: validation, anonymisation and aggregation rules, change logs, and a clear audit trail behind every output.

1.2.4Analytics, insight, and inbound queries

  • Interrogate, with the help of your team, the rankings data to find what matters - trends, patterns, outliers, and the stories worth telling - and turn that into clear insight rather than raw output.
  • Handle inbound queries about the data and the rankings - from the London team and, where they arise, from clients - investigating quickly, answering accurately, and escalating anything touching methodology or commercial terms to London.

1.3What we are looking for

  • 7+ years of experience in data operations, analytics or a closely related analytical operations function.
  • A strong communicator. You can explain something complex to a non-specialist without jargon, stay calm and clear when challenged, and disagree - including with senior people - respectfully and without friction.
  • Demonstrable track record of taking an inherited process, redesigning it, and producing the documentation that made it survive turnover.
  • Strong analytical and data visualisation skills. Excel to a high standard is required; working SQL is required; working Python is a strong plus as are use of BI tools.
  • Experience managing a small team of analysts, with evidence of developing people rather than simply allocating work.
  • Financial services experience - sell-side, buy-side, market data, index operations, research, or a similar regulated data environment.
  • Experience running structured project tracking and reporting for an operational function or delivery team.
  • Confidence handling external client conversations on technical and data-quality topics, including with senior counterparties.
  • Self-directed working style. You spot gaps, raise them, and close them without being told.
  • Comfortable working full UK hours from Bangalore.

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a Regulation and Post Trade Intern to join the Regulation and Post Trade team. The position will be based in Milan, Piazza degli Affari, and start in September.

You will primarily be responsible for:

  • Supporting the team in updating, verifying and monitoring the internal consistency of the Rules of Borsa Italiana, MTS, Cassa di Compensazione e Garanzia and Monte Titoli
  • Assessing compliance of these Rules with internal and external provisions
  • Monitoring new domestic and international regulatory initiatives and conducting thematic analysis
  • Performing comparative analysis of national regulations and evaluating implications on the national regulatory framework

Your profile:

  • Master’s degree in Law (or currently enrolled in a relevant programme)
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Teamworking skills, precision and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and organisational abilities
  • Interest in capital markets and financial regulation

The role is focused on independent model challenge, EMIR regulatory testing and controls across margin, default fund, and risk frameworks.

This is a high-impact position: you will not develop models, but you will assess, challenge, and strengthen them. You will work at the intersection of quantitative modelling, risk governance, and regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Support interpretation of outcomes and escalation of key findings

Controls & Risk Monitoring

  • Design and perform quantitative controls on margin, default fund, and key risk metrics

  • Contribute to liquidity and investment risk monitoring tools
  • Support development of internal analytics (including credit-related insights where relevant)
  • Contribute to regulatory monitoring (EMIR / ESMA / IOSCO) and internal reporting
  • Participate in the development of tools, dashboards, and automation initiatives

What we are looking for

We are looking for a strong quantitative thinker, able to challenge and not just execute.

Required:

  • Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance or similar
  • Strong understanding of financial risk concepts
  • Solid analytical mindset with the ability to question models and assumptions
  • Good programming skills (Python preferred) for data analysis and modelling
  • Ability to work independently on complex and unstructured problems

Preferred:

  • Experience in CCPs, clearing houses, or financial markets
  • Knowledge of margin methodologies (VaR, Expected Shortfall, stress testing)
  • Familiarity with EMIR or similar regulatory frameworks
  • Exposure to large datasets and/or machine learning / AI techniques

What makes this role interesting

  • Direct involvement in the independent challenge of CCP risk models
  • Exposure to regulatory-driven quantitative frameworks (EMIR testing)
  • High visibility and interaction with senior stakeholders
  • Opportunity to develop a critical understanding of how risk models behave in practice
  • Steep learning curve across multiple asset classes and risk dimensions

Why join us
