Gong voor de InspiringFifty women in tech

Neelie Kroes luidt de gong ter ere van de InspiringFifty women in tech lijst. InspiringFifty is een non-profitorganisatie die tot doel heeft de diversiteit in de technologiesector te vergroten door vrouwelijke rolmodellen zichtbaarder te maken.

Het initiatief InspiringFifty is gestart door Janneke Niessen en Joelle Frijters om de buitengewone vrouwen te belichten die excelleren in technologische loopbanen, eerst in Nederland en later steeds verder over de wereld.

Beursnotering Fastned

Fastned noteert op Euronext Amsterdam

Fastned, het snellaadbedrijf dat een Europees netwerk van snellaadstations voor volledig elektrische voertuigen bouwt, kreeg vandaag een notering op Euronext Amsterdam. Ter gelegenheid daarvan luidde oprichter en CEO Michiel Langezaal, de gong.

Fastned bouwt aan een Europees netwerk van snelle laadstations. Fastned heeft een netwerk van 101 stations: 88 in Nederland, 12 in Duitsland en een in het Verenigd Koninkrijk.  De notering Aan Euronext Amsterdam vergroot de toegang van Fastned tot de kapitaalmarkt en geeft Fastned extra financieringsflexibiliteit om de groeistrategie te helpen realiseren.

De beursgang bewijst ook de aantrekkingskracht van Euronext voor snelgroeiende, innovatieve techbedrijven.

Start Amsterdam Impuls op MAEX

Naast Euronext heeft Amsterdam nóg een beurs: de maatschappelijke beurs MAEX Amsterdam. Wethouder Rutger Groot Wassink opent de handelsdag ter gelegenheid van de start van de Amsterdam Impuls op MAEX. 

Amsterdam Impuls is een pot geld gevuld door gemeente Amsterdam en een aantal Amsterdamse fondsen om sociale ondernemingen en maatschappelijke initiatieven te versterken.

Mensen Maken Amsterdam (de koepel van lokale fondsen in Amsterdam) en MAEX Amsterdam werken samen om initiatieven te versterken. Met steun van gemeente Amsterdam en Amsterdamse fondsen zetten de partners een inclusieve infrastructuur op, gericht op het stimuleren en ondersteunen van vernieuwende en verbindende burger- en maatschappelijke initiatieven en sociale ondernemingen in Amsterdam.

Viering van 5 jaar Euronext IPO

Euronext, het pan-Europese handelsplatform, viert vandaag het vijfjarig bestaan als beursgenoteerde onderneming. Ter gelegenheid daarvan luidde Maurice van Tilburg, CEO van Euronext Amsterdam, de gong.

Sinds de beursgang in juni 2014 is Euronext uitgegroeid tot het grootste handelsplatform van Europa, met markten in Parijs, Amsterdam, Brussel, Dublin, Lissabon, Londen en binnenkort Oslo.

De beurskoers van Euronext is in de afgelopen vijf jaar ruimschoots verdrievoudigd.

Female Tech Heroes openen de handelsdag

Het Female Tech Heroes Netwerk kijkt terug op een geslaagde lancering. Om dit te vieren openen initiatiefnemers Hilde de Vocht en Ingelou Stol de handelsdag, samen met hun ambassadeurs.

Female Tech Heroes is een initiatief van High Tech Campus Eindhoven om meer vrouwen enthousiast te maken voor techniek.

Hilde de Vocht & Ingelou Stol: ‘Het aantal vrouwen dat in de techniek werkt is erg laag. We werken in een omgeving die gedomineerd wordt door mannen en we hebben meer vrouwen nodig. Diversiteit is de sleutel tot succes. Met Female Tech Heroes gaan we o.a. meer rolmodellen creëren, om zo vrouwen te inspireren hoe ontzettend gaaf het is om te werken in de techniek.’ Op 21 mei is het Female Tech Heroes Netwerk officieel gelanceerd door ambassadeur Neelie Kroes. De komende jaren zal het platform verder internationaal worden uitgebreid.

BECH start productie groen gas

Waterschap Vallei en Veluwe en Jan Bakker hebben samen de Bio Energie Centrale Harderwijk (BECH) geïnitieerd en opgezet.  Door BECH wordt er jaarlijks 8 miljoen m3 groengas geproduceerd. AFS Energy heeft voor BECH bemiddeld bij het afsluiten van de Gas Purchase Agreement met Essent waarmee de verkoop van het groen gas is verzekerd voor de komende jaren. Met een gongslag openen Bert van Vreeswijk, Heemraad waterschap Vallei en Veluwe, en Jan Bakker, aandeelhouders van de BECH, de Amsterdamse beurs.

Groen gas als duurzaam alternatief

Groen gas wordt geproduceerd uit de vergisting van onder andere mest. Dit vermindert het mestoverschot en biedt een duurzaam alternatief voor aardgas. AFS Energy heeft als bemiddelaar een bijdrage geleverd aan de totstandkoming van de GPA, welke is afgesloten met Essent. Hiermee dragen alle betrokken partijen bij aan de energietransitie in Nederland.

W.P. Stewart Holdings Fund viert 30-jarig bestaan

Het W.P. Stewart Holdings Fund (‘WPSH’) bestaat sinds 1989 en ter ere hiervan luidt fondsmanager Jim Tierney de gong.

Het op Euronext Amsterdam genoteerde beleggingsfonds belegt in een portefeuille van circa 20 Amerikaanse groeibedrijven. 2013 maakt WPSH onderdeel uit van de beleggingsproducten van AllianceBernstein.  

Jim Tierney en zijn team zijn eveneens verantwoordelijk voor de AB Concentrated US Equity Portfolio.

IPO Marel

Marel lists on Euronext Amsterdam and issues new shares 

Marel, a leading global provider of advanced processing systems, software and services for the poultry, meat and fish processing industry, today began trading on Euronext Amsterdam, adding to its existing listing in Iceland.

Start National Prokkelstagedag

State Secretary for Social Affairs and Employment, Tamara van Ark sounds the gong together with Hans Sprong, cliënt of Philadephia.

It is also the starting signal for the National Prokkelstagedag: a day when thousands of people with an intellectual disability to do a traineeship at a company, a governmental or public organization.
