Vanguard viert 50-jarig jubileum
Vanguard vierde vanmorgen zijn 50-jarig bestaan met een gongceremonie bij Euronext Amsterdam.
Vijftig jaar geleden lanceerde oprichter John Bogle het eerste indexfonds dat toegankelijk was voor particuliere beleggers, en legde daarmee de basis voor een revolutie in persoonlijke financiën.
Vandaag de dag blijft Vanguard zich inzetten om beleggers de beste kans op financieel succes te bieden. De ceremonie was een moment van reflectie én een bevestiging van hun missie om spaarders te helpen om beleggers te worden.
De gong werd geluid door Frits de Rek, Sales Executive, Northern Europe bij Vanguard. De groep werd verwelkomd door Dirk Donker, Head of Secondary Markets Benelux & Germany en Amsterdam Managing Board Member, en Aurélien Narminio, Head of Indices, ETF's and Securitised Derivatives bij Euronext.
