Stichting Pluk de Nacht geeft met gongslag startsein voor openluchtfilmfestival
Stichting Pluk de Nacht luidt de gong op Beursplein 5 en geeft daarmee het startsein voor de 12e editie van het openluchtfilmfestival. Bezoekers van Pluk de Nacht kunnen in de maand augustus weer volop genieten van (inter)nationale speelfilms, korte films, documentaires en animaties die niet of nauwelijks in de Nederlandse bioscopen te zien zijn geweest. Juist deze films verdienen het om op een laagdrempelige manier een groot publiek te bereiken, volgens de groep filmliefhebbers die Pluk de Nacht heeft opgericht. Het festival is dan ook al vanaf de eerste editie vrij toegankelijk.
Pluk de Nacht vertoont van 5 tot en met 15 augustus films in Amsterdam. Vervolgens trekt het festival verder het land in. Van 20 tot en met 22 augustus is Pluk te vinden in Arnhem. De tour eindigt in Utrecht, waar Pluk van 26 tot en met 29 augustus neerstrijkt. Eline van Haastrecht, Producent Stichting Pluk de Nacht, luidt de gong.
