Princess Máxima Center for pediatric oncology officially open for one year

In the honor of the official opening of the Princess Máxima Center one year ago on June 5^th, 2018, Diana Monissen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology, opens the trading day with her colleagues.

The Princess Máxima Center also congratulates H.M. Queen Máxima on her 48th birthday on the 17^th of May.

About Princess Máxima Center

In the Netherlands, approximately 600 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. One in four of these children doesn’t survive their illness. s. Ten years ago, a group of parents started working towards one national children’s cancer center that could accelerate advances in treatment. Those efforts led to the creation of the Princess Máxima Center for pediatric oncology: a unique center that brings together all highly complex care and research for children with cancer in the Netherlands.
