Netherland - America Friendship Gala
Ter ere van de eerste editie van het Netherland – America- Foundation Gala in Nederland luidt Merijn Boender , de chairman, de gong.
The Netherland- America Foundation
Om de vriendschapsbanden tussen Nederland en Amerika te verstevigen is bijna 100 jaar geleden de Netherland- America Foundation (NAF) opgericht. De NAF richt zich met name op de culturele, wetenschappelijke en economische sector.
Ieder jaar krijgt een groot aantal Nederlandse en Amerikaanse studenten een beurs om in elkaars land te gaan studeren.
Het eerste NAF gala in Nederland
Op 4 april zal in de Pieterskerk in Leiden voor het eerst een Charity Gala plaatsvinden waarbij de NAF beschermvrouw Prinses Margriet aanwezig zal zijn. Het doel van het gala is om geld in te zamelen voor de educatieve en culturele uitwisselingsprogramma’s van de NAF.
