NBWM luidt gong voor
Kees Gielen, voorzitter van de Raad van Toezicht bij de Nederlandsche Betaal & Wisselmaatschappij (NBWM), luidt de gong om de beurshandel te openen. Hiermee viert NBWM dat ze nu ook valutaopties kan aanbieden. Die kunnen bedrijven gebruiken om zich in te dekken tegen ongewenste wisselkoersbewegingen.
“We richten ons op het MKB. De markt biedt hierin ruimte voor een uitdager”, aldus PJ Datema, oprichter van NBWM. Afgelopen maand kreeg NBWM ook een vergunning van de Autoriteit Financiële Markten. Die vergunning maakt het mogelijk om ook valutaopties aan te bieden. “Klanten konden al gebruikmaken van termijncontracten om zich in te dekken tegen ongewenste koersbewegingen. Met valutaopties bieden we de klant nog meer mogelijkheden.”
