Nederlands Instituut voor Sport & Bewegen viert 15-jarig bestaan

Het Nederlands Instituut voor Sport en Bewegen (NISB) bestaat in 2014 vijftien jaar en start het lustrumjaar met het luiden van de gong op Beursplein 5.
Met een slag op de gong vraagt directeur Remco Boer aandacht voor het doorbreken van langdurig zitten op de werkvloer. Langdurig zitten, thuis en op het werk verhoogt de kans op hart- en vaataandoeningen, diabetes type twee en vroegtijdig overlijden. Twee keer een uurtje sporten in de week compenseert niet voor langdurig zitten op het werk en thuis. NISB werkt hard aan bewustwording van het belang van meer bewegen op het werk, bijvoorbeeld met dynamisch kantoormeubilair.
