Lancering van Stichting EOE78
Vanochtend vierde Stichting EOE78 haar lancering met een Gongceremonie bij Euronext Amsterdam. De stichting wil kennis over beleggen, optiehandel en derivaten toegankelijk maken voor een breed publiek en de financiële geletterdheid vergroten. Op weg naar 50 jaar optiehandel in Europa in 2028 organiseert de stichting onder meer educatieve programma's, seminars en evenementen.
De European Options Exchange (EOE) opende op 4 april 1978 in Amsterdam als eerste optiebeurs van Europa. In 1997 fuseerde de EOE met de Amsterdamse effectenbeurs, en sindsdien maakt de optiehandel deel uit van wat nu Euronext is.
André van Eerden, en Bob Out, Directors van EOE78, hadden de eer de Gong te luiden ter opening van de handelsdag. De groep werd verwelkomd door Paul Noordam, Senior Sales Manager bij Euronext Amsterdam.
