KPN (ticker symbol: KPN) en DearBytes luiden de gong en openen de handelsdag op Beursplein 5 vanwege de afronding van de overname van cybersecuritybedrijf DearBytes door KPN. Met deze overname geeft KPN verder vorm aan zijn ambitie om klanten nog beter te beveiligen in de digitale wereld. KPN versterkt hiermee zijn leidende positie als de security services provider van Nederland.
Dankzij de overname van DearBytes kan KPN nog beter aan heel zakelijk Nederland, ongeacht de bedrijfsgrootte, kwalitatief hoogstaande security dienstverlening aanbieden. De 85 professionals van DearBytes zullen het bestaande KPN Security Services-team versterken, in het bijzonder op het gebied van veilig mobiel werken, malware bescherming, monitoring en detectie.
KPN merkt een zeer sterk groeiende behoefte bij onze klanten aan gedegen maar ook eenvoudig te verkrijgen security dienstverlening tegen digitale dreigingen zoals ransomware en phishing.
