Op 8 maart 2017, organiseerde Euronext en 43 andere beurzen een Internationaal event “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” samen met haar partners UN Global Compact, UN Women, Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative, IFC, World Federation of Exchanges en Women in ETFs. De bedoeling is om de bewustwording over de business case voor de economische empowerment van vrouwen en de mogelijkheden voor de particuliere sector om gendergelijkheid en duurzame ontwikkeling te bevorderen.
Bij Euronext Brussel luidde Françoise Chombar, CEO Melexis, de openingsbel en hield een voordracht over “Women at Work” in aanwezigheid van vrouwen uit de economische en financiële wereld.
