Himalayan Fund viert 25 jaar notering aan Euronext Amsterdam
Voorzitter van de raad van bestuur van het Himalayan Fund NV, Ian McEvatt, luidt de gong ter gelegenheid van de 25e verjaardag van Himalayan Fund op de beurs in Amsterdam. Toen het fonds startte was Himalayan Fund het grootste ‘single-country’ beleggingsfonds ter wereld en nog steeds is het één van de oudste beleggingsfondsen dat uitsluitend belegt in India.
McEvatt: “We zijn onder de indruk van de manier waarop de nieuwe regering in Delhi, samenwerkend met het nieuwe bestuur van de Reserva Bank of India, succesvol is geweest in het stimuleren van de economie in India. We hebben er alle vertrouwen in dat de daardoor gecreëerde opwaartse tendens van de beurs in Mumbai aanhoudt.”
