Ben & Jerry’s bezoekt Euronext op Dag van de Duurzaamheid
Op de Dag van de Duurzaamheid luidt Ben & Jerry’s de traditionele beursgong.
Het ijsjesmerk, onderdeel van het aan Euronext genoteerde Unilever (ticker symbol: UNIA), spoort haar fans aan actie te ondernemen tegen klimaatverandering. Om bewustwording over klimaatverandering te vergroten lanceerde Ben & Jerry’s de smaak “Save Our Swirled”. Het ijsje bestaat uit frambozenroomijs met swirls van marshmallow, frambozen en bramen, en choco-ijshoorntjes.
De campagne van Ben & Jerry's is een logisch gevolg van de progressieve achtergrond van het van oorsprong Amerikaanse merk, dat Fairtrade ingrediënten gebruikt en vanaf 2002 een CO2 compensatieprogramma hanteert. Lilian Geijsen, Country Leader Ben & Jerry’s Benelux, luidt de gong.
