CFO of the Year
ARCADIS CFO Renier Vree is verkozen tot CFO of the Year en luidt voor die gelegenheid de beursgong. Het aan Euronext Amsterdam genoteerde ARCADIS (ticker symbol: ARCAD) is de leidende wereldwijd opererende ontwerp- en adviesorganisatie op het gebied van de natuurlijke en gebouwde omgeving.
In het juryrapport van organisator CFO Association wordt Vree geroemd vanwege de belangrijke rol die hij speelt bij overnames. "Vree is als CFO in de lead bij de (snelle) en cruciale integratie van de opgekochte ondernemingen waardoor risico's worden beperkt en de beoogde efficiency wordt gerealiseerd. Vree heeft hierbij duidelijk oog voor de zachte kant van integratie, consultancy is immers een people business."
