BlackRock lanceert iShares Bitcoin ETP

Een nieuwe handelsdag werd vandaag geopend door BlackRock ter ere van de iShares Bitcoin ETP lancering. Hiermee kunnen investeerders in Europa anticiperen op koersbewegingen van bitcoin zonder de complexiteit van het direct verhandelen en vasthouden van de cryptocurrency.
Een recent onderzoek, uitgevoerd door BlackRock en Focal Data, onder vermogensprofessionals toonde aan dat bitcoin ETP's een hoog niveau van interesse aantrekken bij professionele beleggers, waarbij 75% aangaf geïnteresseerd te zijn in investeren in een bitcoin ETP binnen de komende twee jaar.
Kirst Kuipers, Head of Institutional ETF Sales EMEA bij BlackRock luidde de gong deze ochtend in het bijzijn van René van Vlerken, CEO bij Euronext Amsterdam en Paul Noordam, Senior Manager Sales en Product Management Cash Equities & Derivatives bij Euronext Amsterdam.
