Gemeente Amsterdam opent Beursplein
Gemeente Amsterdam opent het vernieuwde Beursplein met een slag op de beursgong. In 2017 is de gemeente begonnen met de bouw van de ondergrondse fietsenstalling en de herinrichting van het Beursgebied.
Na het afronden van deze werkzaamheden is het Beursplein weer een verblijfsplek geworden met de oorspronkelijke, monumentale paardendrinkbakken en lantaarns van Berlage. Ook Charging Bull van kunstenaar Arturo di Modica heeft weer een plaats gekregen.
De feestelijke publieksopening van het Beursgebied en de ondergrondse fietsenstalling vindt vrijdag 13 juli vanaf 15.00 uur plaats. Om 15.30 uur is de officiële opening. Daarna starten er diverse feestelijke activiteiten op het plein en in de stalling.
