Gongslag is startschot voor Aegon Koninklijke-Holland Beker
Roel Braas, roeier van het Aegon Nationaal Roeiteam en winnaar van de afgelopen 2 edities van de Aegon Koninklijke-Holland Beker, luidt de gong in het gezelschap van de organisatie en sponsor Aegon (ticker symbol: AGN).
De 122e editie van Aegon Koninklijke-Holland Beker vindt dit jaar op zaterdag 27 en zondag 28 juni plaats in Rotterdam. De nationale roeitop zal aanwezig zijn en ook verschillende internationale toproeiers zijn van de partij. Naast een grote delegatie van de Nederlandse roeitop nemen roeiers uit onder andere Canada, Denemarken, Japan, Indonesië, Ierland, Australië, Amerika, Duitsland en Engeland deel.
De Holland Beker is een van de oudste roeiwedstrijden ter wereld. De eerste editie werd in 1886 verroeid.
