ABN AMRO eerste financiële instelling die EU Green Bond uitgeeft

ABN AMRO is de eerste financiële instelling in Europa en de eerste uitgever in de Benelux die met succes een EU Green Bond (EuGB) heeft uitgegeven.
De obligatie heeft een waarde van 750 miljoen euro, een rente van 3% en een looptijd van zes jaar. De opbrengst wordt toegewezen aan groene gebouwen en hernieuwbare energieprojecten.
De gongslag ter gelegenheid van deze uitgifte werd verricht door Ruud Jaegers, Head of Long Term Funding & Capital Issuance bij ABN AMRO. De groep werd welkom geheten door Paul Noordam, Senior Manager Sales & Product Management en Christine van den Bos, Listing Director bij Euronext Amsterdam.
