Martinair viert 60-jarig bestaan
Martinair viert haar zestigjarig bestaan met een slag op de gong. Marcel de Nooijer, Managing Director Martinair Holland N.V., opent met het luiden van de gong de handelsdag op de Amsterdamse beurs van Euronext.
Martinair Holland N.V. werd op 24 mei 1958 opgericht en is tegenwoordig een volledig onderdeel van de KLM Groep (ticker symbol: AF). Martinair Holland N.V. omvat drie bedrijfsactiviteiten: de luchtvaartmaatschappij Martinair Cargo, de vliegschool Martinair Flight Academy en het technisch onderhoudsbedrijf Regional Jet Center.
Met ingang van 31 december 2008 is KLM volledig aandeelhouder van Martinair Holland N.V. Na ruim vijftig jaar beëindigde Martinair eind 2011 haar passagiers activiteiten en richt zich sindsdien exclusief op het vervoer van luchtvracht.
