Equity Admission Intern
Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for an Equity Admission Intern to join the Equity Admission team, within the PMCS department of Euronext's Primary Markets business line. The position will be based in Paris, and start in February 2027. You will report to the Head of Equity Listing Execution.
Within the PMCS department, the Equity Admission team is responsible for managing the initial admission of equity securities across all Euronext markets. Based in Oslo, Amsterdam, Dublin and Paris, the team works collaboratively across the Group to support a wide range of transactions, including IPOs, direct listings and private placements.
Beyond transaction execution, the team contributes to the continuous improvement and harmonisation of admission processes and market rules across Euronext markets. It also supports the Sales teams and advises internal and external stakeholders, including legal advisers and investment banks, on Euronext rules, applicable regulations and the technical aspects of listing transactions.
As an Equity Admission Intern, you will contribute to the execution of admission projects from the initial discussions with prospective issuers through to the completion of the transaction.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Participating in client meetings: Prepare for and attend kick-off meetings with senior management teams (C-level executives) of companies considering a listing on Euronext markets.
- Analysing admission applications: Assess companies applying for the initial admission of equity securities, under the supervision of Equity Admission Managers. This includes conducting legal and regulatory due diligence, reviewing financial information and business models, identifying risks and potential mitigating measures, assessing transaction structures, and verifying post-trade arrangements.
- Managing admission projects: Contribute to the coordination and monitoring of admission projects, liaising with relevant internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure transactions progress smoothly and meet applicable requirements.
- Preparing reports and presentations: Draft project updates, analytical reports and presentations for management, providing clear visibility on progress, key issues and outstanding actions.
- Contributing to process improvement: Support initiatives aimed at improving admission processes and promoting consistency across Euronext markets.
You will report directly to the Head of Equity Admission and work closely with Equity Admission Managers and colleagues across the international team. This role offers exposure to a broad range of equity transactions, direct interaction with senior executives and financial market professionals, and the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of capital markets, listing regulations and transaction execution.
Your profile:
- Final or penultimate year student from a business school or law university with strong academic credentials
- Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Law.
- Good understanding of Equity Capital Markets (ECM).
- Rigorous, autonomous, and results-oriented, with a strong team spirit.
- Excellent analytical and drafting skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in French and English; proficiency in other Euronext languages is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels, including senior executives, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
