‘Topvrouw van het jaar’ opens trading at the Amsterdam Exchange

Eugenie van Wiechen, General Manager of FD Mediagroep, has been named top woman of the year 2018 and celebrates this by sounding the gong.

According to the jury, headed by Pamela Boumeester, it was van Wiechen’s authenticity, and the courage to be vulnerable, that led to great results.  She ensured that the culture in the company has changed into a transparent and safe working environment for both men and women.

In doing so, she has successfully guided the company through a shrinking market over the past 7 years with her strategic choices.

The annual election is held by the Topvrouw van het jaar Foundation and wants to give female talent the attention it deserves.
