On the 28th of August, the Eye Care Foundation turned 35. Ambassador of Eye Care Foundation, tv and readio host Toine van Peperstraten, sounds the gong.

About Eye Care Foundation

For 35 years, Eye Care Foundation has focused on preventing unnecessary blindness and low vision in Asia and Africa. In Nepal, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Tanzania, Rwanda and Zambia, Eye Care Foundation works with local organizations to make eye care accessible to the very poorest. They do this by financial aid for training of ophthalmologists and medical assistants, purchasing medical equipment, organizing eye camps and eye screenings, and building eye hospitals and eye clinics.
