Role Purpose
The Role plays a central role in Nord Pool / Euronext's Exchange Desk team at a pivotal moment for European power.
Operating on a shift basis, you are a first point of contact for trading members and other market participants, supporting trading across an expanding suite of Nordic, Baltic and Continental power products, and safeguarding orderly, transparent markets throughout the trading day. You work closely with members, Euronext's clearing and trading functions and internal technology teams to keep Europe's power markets running - and to help scale that offering as it grows across new regions.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate Exchange desk core tasks, such as order management, trade registration and assistance with trade cancellation.
• Be in regular contact with market participants contributing to the liquidity of the Power derivative market and ensure awareness of the activity on the Central Order Book.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with market participants, including trading members, Market Makers/Liquidity Providers, Non-Executing Brokers and ISVs.
• Promote the Exchange Desk as first point of contact for Trading Members and other market participants in the Power derivative market.
• Provide market participants with education on the use of power futures contracts for risk management.
• Participate in, and lead power futures-related seminars during the year.
• Provide technical information to market participants, such as new product details or graphic user interface usage for all relevant trading and clearing front ends.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, energy, economics or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2–5 years' experience at a trading desk, market operations or exchange / broker operations environment, ideally in energy markets.
• Understanding of power derivatives markets
• Clear, confident communicator able to manage complex member issues calmly under time pressure.
• High attention to details and accuracy in a real-time, business-critical setting.
• Proficiency with trading / order-management systems and standard analytical tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerBI, Powerpoint and Word)
• Willingness and ability to work shift within the Exchange Desk opening hours (07:30-18:30 CET), which can include Norwegian public holidays when the Continental markets are open.

We’re seeking a results-driven Financial Derivatives Intern to join our Financial Derivatives team in Paris, ideally from January 2027. You will report to the Pricing and Liquidity team.
Your role will be to assist the team to help them in ensuring the business competitiveness among a demanding and fast growing environment. The intern will support the team in market and product development activities for its Equity Derivatives franchise, but also it new Fixed Income Derivatives offering. The intern will help the team to support the client interactions and will be involved into the marketing campaigns. Client targets include buy-side, sell-side, liquidity providers, asset managers and clearing members based in the continental Europe and the UK.
The intern might also provide support in the integration process of Athex Exchange within the Euronext legacy infrastructure.
The intern will interact on a daily basis with employees from various departments, the management team and clients, for which interpersonal skills are key.
Your missions:
- Automate the generation of trading reports to follow product developments and feed clients with trading trends.
- Support the team commercial efforts in automating with Power BI the generation of presentations for clients (banks, market makers, brokers) including statistics describing trading pattern and rankings.
- Supporting data scientists in research and quantitative projects using Python and SQL.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a Marketing & Partnerships Manager to join the Primary Markets Marketing team in Paris. You will report to the Head of Marketing & Partnerships for Primary Markets and act as the key marketing partner for the French, Portuguese and Spanish Listing team.
You will translate business priorities into impactful marketing initiatives supporting companies throughout their equity financing journey—from initial consideration of capital markets and pre-IPO preparation to listing and post-IPO visibility.
You will contribute to positioning Euronext as the leading venue for equity financing in Europe, promoting the benefits of an IPO among entrepreneurs and decision-makers, strengthening the visibility of newly listed companies, and engaging the wider financial and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Marketing Planning and Execution: Define and implement the Primary Markets marketing plan in France, Portugal & Spain, in line with local business objectives and Euronext’s broader pan-European strategy. The Role

Coordinating and developing Euronext’s pan-European retail derivatives education programme, including webinars, podcasts, workshops and digital content, and becoming an active external representative of Euronext’s retail derivatives initiatives
Developing high-quality educational content, ensuring technical accuracy and relevance for retail investors, and maximising distribution through broker and partner channels
Building and executing local and pan-European go-to-market plans to support retail derivatives adoption, developing strong partnerships with retail brokers and identifying additional partners within the retail investment ecosystem
Measuring the effectiveness of educational and marketing initiatives using defined key performance indicators and using data and feedback to continuously improve the strategy
Contributing to the product roadmap for retail derivatives across equity and fixed income, analysing retail investor and broker needs, monitoring product performance and translating insights into product development opportunities
Conducting competitive and market structure analysis, benchmarking listed derivatives against competing retail products to support Euronext’s product positioning and regulatory advocacy
Building strong relationships with retail brokers and ecosystem partners across European markets, in cooperation with the sales and marketing team
Your profile:
One to three years of experience in derivatives, trading, financial markets, brokerage, product marketing or a related field
Good understanding of listed markets and financial products, including futures and options, with curiosity and willingness to develop expertise in the broader retail investment landscape
Experience or strong interest in investor education, product development and market structure
Strong interest in B2B marketing, content production and campaign management
Fluent in English and at least one of the following: French, Dutch or Italian. Proficiency in several Euronext market languages is an advantage
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex derivatives concepts clearly to diverse audiences
Proactive, creative and entrepreneurial, able to drive projects involving multiple stakeholders across several countries
Strong organisational and project management skills, results-oriented and pragmatic
Open-minded and adaptable, comfortable navigating diverse local investor cultures and educational ecosystems

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a Strategy and Business Analyst (VIE) to join the Nord Pool Strategy and Products department. The position will be based in Oslo, and start in January 2027. You will report to the Chief Strategy Officer.
You will primarily be responsible for:
- Undertaking market analysis to identify opportunities and customer needs, using desktop research, client meetings and attendance at selected conferences
- Monitoring the competitive landscape of services and products, conducting screening analysis to identify business targets and ensuring departmental reporting
- Producing high-quality materials (spreadsheets, presentation slides) to communicate results, conclusions and suggested actions
- Participating in regular meetings with other departments, partners and the Euronext group to ensure alignment
- Analysing business performance, identifying improvements and proposing actionable solutions
- Participating in strategy process updates, M&A processes and meetings with potential partners
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, computer science or a related field
- At least one successful internship or work experience in the energy industry, strategy consulting or a fast-growing business
- Experience in analysing data and creating reports and presentations
- Fluent in English
- Solid interest in energy economics, power markets and energy in general
- Experience in project management
- Excellent planning, organisational, problem-solving, time management and communication skills
- Command of Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
- Fast learner, proactive behaviour and entrepreneurial mindset

You will primarily be responsible for:
- Working closely with senior project managers, senior experts and other team members to support the implementation of Nord Pool strategic projects
- Supporting the preparation of business proposals and presentations
- Assisting with client requests and providing customer support
- Undertaking analysis and desktop research to provide background knowledge for customer-tailored events and workshops
- Supporting the arrangement of events and trainings
- Assisting in administrative and reporting tasks, including preparing client invoices and project budgets
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, power engineering, technology or a related field
- Successful first internship or work experience
- Experience in creating reports and presentations
- Motivated by and able to work with a wide range of tasks – no day is the same
- Proven planning, organisational, problem-solving, time management and communication skills
