Commodities Data Analyst Intern

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a Commodities Data Analyst Intern to join the Commodities team. The position will be based in Paris, and start January 2027. You will report to the Commodities Manager.

You will primarily be responsible for:

• Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators such as trading volumes, open interest and member engagement
• Maintaining and improving datasets by collecting, cleaning and updating data using Python and SQL
• Automating internal processes and presentations to enhance efficiency and reporting
• Supporting the team in optimising data workflows to drive the performance and growth of the commodities franchise

Your profile:

• Currently enrolled in a Master 1 / Bac+4 (or equivalent) programme in Business, Engineering or a related field
• Strong interest in commodities markets and financial products
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions, PowerPoint)
• Solid knowledge of Python (including Pandas and Matplotlib) and SQL
• Familiarity with Dataiku is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English (professional proficiency, C1 level or native)
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
