Working with us means
You will join a dynamic and international environment where innovation, quality and collaboration are central to our operations. You will have the opportunity to shape the direction of a major trading platform and play a key role in the development and diversification of MTS within Euronext.
The Euronext Technology & Support Centre
The ambition of the new Euronext Technology & Support Centre is to build a strong team in Greece that will support the Business Lines, IT, and Operations functions across the Group.
In its initial phase, the Centre will focus on two key initiatives:
Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) Development Team: We will establish an in-house team responsible for developing and supporting Euronext’s Graphical User Interfaces, which are currently managed by an external provider.
IT Clearing Test Factory: We will create an in-house Test Factory to support the Clearing House based in Italy. Euronext Clearing is a multi-asset-class clearing house that provides proven risk management capabilities for Euronext’s cash, financial and commodity derivatives markets. As the central counterparty (CCP) of choice for Euronext markets, it ensures the efficient and safe functioning of the markets.
Initial roles within the Centre will include Backend Developers, UI Developers, Business Analysts, Application Managers, and QA Engineers.
Role and key responsibilities
Join our new Tech & Support centre in Athens as a UI Front-end Developer in the MTS GUI Development team. You will be part of a team of front-end developers designing and building the new web-based graphical user interface (GUI) for our fixed income electronic trading platforms. You will report to the Team Lead – MTS GUI Development, and work closely with your fellow front-end developers, backend engineers, business analysts, QA specialists, and technical product owners in the MTS IT team. This is an exciting opportunity to craft high-performance, real-time trading interfaces from the ground up and contribute to the modernisation of a leading European electronic trading platform.
You will be primarily responsible for:
Developing responsive, high-performance applications using React.js (or similar modern frameworks) for real-time fixed income trading workflows.
Implementing complex UI components such as order blotters, real-time price grids, trade tickets and market-data visualisations, ensuring low-latency rendering and smooth user experience.
Integrating with backend services via REST/JSON APIs and WebSockets for real-time data streaming, handling authentication, authorisation and error handling on the client side.
Building and maintaining reusable component libraries and design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across the application.
Collaborating with business analysts and UX/UI designers to translate functional and user experience requirements into clean, maintainable front-end code.
Writing automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) using tools such as Playwright or similar, and contributing to the team's testing strategy.
Participating in code reviews, adhering to established coding standards and contributing to continuous improvement of development practices.
Working with the DevOps/platform teams to support CI/CD pipelines, build processes and deployment strategies for the web front end.
Contributing to technical documentation, architecture diagrams and knowledge transfer material.
Supporting incident analysis and production issues related to the GUI, coordinating with support and operations teams when needed.
This list is non-exhaustive and may vary according to strategic priorities of the group.
Knowledge, Personality, Skills and Experience Required
