Sounding of the gong marks start Uitmarkt

The Uitmarkt’s main partner, ABN AMRO, sounds the gong at the Amsterdam exchange along with representatives of the other supporting partners.

The 41st edition of the Uitmarkt will take place from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 August 2010 around the Oosterdok and at the Marineterrein in Amsterdam. During the Uitmarkt, the rich cultural programme for the coming season will be presented, with performances by leading companies and performers, including Guus Meeuwis, Van der Laan & Woe, Tommy Christiaan, Dutch National Opera & Ballet and the popular musical Sing-a-Long.

The Uitmarkt, the opening of the cultural season, receives funding from a wide network of partners, including main partner ABN AMRO, BankGiro Loterij, Port of Amsterdam, City of Amsterdam, Province of Noord-Holland, SENA Performers and 50 jaar Bijlmer.
