New CFO Vastned, Reinier Walta, visits Euronext Amsterdam

Reinier Walta, the new CFO of Vastned, visits Euronext Amsterdam and opens trading by sounding the gong. Walta is accompanied by amongst others CEO Taco de Groot.

As of 1 November 2014, Reinier Walta is the new CFO of Vastned (ticker symbol: VASTN), the listed European retail property company focusing on ‘venues for premium shopping’. Vastned invests in selected cities in Europe and Istanbul, with a clear focus on the best retail property in popular shopping streets in the bigger cities. Vastned's tenants are leading international and national retail brands. The property portfolio has a size of approximately € 1.5 billion. Walta has over fifteen years of experience in the international property market. Over the past three years, as a Senior Transaction Manager, he was responsible from Abu Dhabi for the execution, structuring and financing of all major property transactions in Europe for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). Walta was appointed by the shareholders of Vastned as CFO and Statutory Director for a period of four years.
