Pharnext est spécialisé dans le développement de médicaments fondés sur la PléothérapieTM destinés au traitement des maladies neurologiques sévères, rares et communes (notamment Alzheimer, maladie de Charcot-Marie Tooth, maladie de Parkinson et sclérose latérale amyotrophique). La société assure la création de nouveaux traitements en combinant, à doses très faibles, des molécules déjà éprouvées pour d'autres pathologies.
Le groupe dispose d’un portefeuille de 2 produits en phase de développement clinique : PXT-3003 (traitement de la maladie orpheline Charcot-Marie-Tooth de type 1A) et PXT-864 (traitement de maladie d’Alzheimer).
