Euronext fête le 25ème anniversaire du lancement du système de trading électronique à la Bourse de Bruxelles. Le 24 janvier 2014, les Vice-Présidents honoraires de l’ancienne « Commission de la Bourse-Beurscommissie » de 1989 Walter Van Glabbeek et Jean-François Anspach, ont sonné la cloche d’ouverture des marchés. Lestrois premières actions qui ont été négociées par voie électronique le 24 Janvier 1989 étaient Solvay, GB-Inno-BM et Tractebel. Ces sociétés étaient représentées à la Bell Ceremony par Diego du Monceau, ancien PDG de GIB et par Alcon Hidalgo Maria, Vice-président Exécutif, Investor Relations de Solvay.
