Euronext Brussels had the pleasure to welcome X-FAB to celebrate their “IPO of the Year” award. CEO Rudi De Winter and CFO Alba Morganti opened the trading day in Brussels, a few days after the company won the “IPO of the Year” award in the category large caps at Euronext's 7th annual Stock Exchange Conference in Paris. The award honours their successful Initial Public Offering and the company’s post-IPO performance.

Euronext had the pleasure to welcome Hilmar Rode, CEO of Nyrstar, to celebrate the 10th listing anniversary of the company. Therefore Mr Rode opened the trading day in Brussels in the presence of Mr Chris Eger, CFO and Virginie Lietaer, Company Secretary.

Nyrstar is an integrated mining and metals business with market leading positions in zinc and lead, and growing positions in other base and precious metals.

BelIR 25th Birthday Event

Founded in 1992, the Belgian Investor Relation Association (BIRA) has gradually expanded its membership and concluded in 2000 a Cooperation Agreement with the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium (FEB). Since then, BIRA has continued to vigorously support investor relations as a discipline and its best practices. Recently BIRA has embarked on a new ambitious project to strengthen its role on a national, European and international level. Therefore BIRA has become BelIR. To mark this occasion and to celebrate its 25^th anniversary, BelIR Board members rang the Closing Bell at Euronext Brussels together with their president Wim Allegaert.

Guy Lerminiaux, Asset Manager at Degroof Petercam was keynote speaker.

This panel discussion hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, in cooperation with Euronext Brussels, featured the President Director of the Indonesian Stock Exchange, Mr. Tito Sulistio, as guest speaker, as well as H.E. Yuri Thamrin, Ambassador of Indonesia in Belgium. This gathering allowed participants to exchange views on recent economic developments in Indonesia, to gain insight on the Indonesia’s business climate, the Indonesia’s Stock Exchange and capital market potentials.
