Euronext Amsterdam – World Investor Week

Today, attention is drawn to the importance of education and protection of (private) investors in seven Euronext countries. This series of gong- and bell ceremonies marks the start of the fifth edition of World Investor Week, an initiative Euronext has embraced. At Euronext, Dirk Donker, Head of Financial Derivatives, and René van Vlerken, Head of Listing, sounded the gong together with colleagues.

Van Lanschot Kempen celebrates the 50th anniversary of Investment Club ‘t Stockpaert. Jan Knol, Founder of Investment Club ‘t Stockpaert, sounded the gong this morning with Richard Bruens, member of the Managing Board at Van Lanschot Kempen. Franklin Templeton – ETF Listing

Today, eight ETF’s from the Franklin LibertySharesTM range listed on Euronext Amsterdam. To celebrate Caroline Baron, Head of ETF Sales, EMEA at Franklin Templeton, sounded the gong this morning. She was welcomed by Dirk Donker, Head of Retail Services at Euronext. 

Majorel Group Luxembourg S.A. – Listing and first day of trading

Thomas Mackenbrock, Chief Executive Officer of Majorel Group Luxembourg S.A., sounded the gong today to celebrate the company’s listing on Euronext Amsterdam. He was welcomed by Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam. Majorel is a global provider of next-generation end-to-end customer experience (CX) solutions for leading digital-native and vertical brands.

Universal Music Group – Listing and first day of trading

Sir Lucian Grainge, Chairman and CEO of Universal Music Group and members of UMG’s corporate executive team sounded the gong today live at the Euronext market opening. During this traditional gong ceremony, the newly listed company was welcomed to Euronext by Simone Huis in ‘t Veld (CEO Euronext Amsterdam) and René van Vlerken (Head of Listing Euronext Amsterdam).

Podcast Jong Beleggen – Product launch: PortfolioDividendTracker.com

Pim Verlaan, founder of the popular podcast Jong Beleggen, sounded the gong at Beursplein 5 this morning. To celebrate the product launch of PortfolioDividendTracker.com. The tracker will be available for everyone starting 16 September. He was welcomed by Rauke Wouda, Senior Product Developer Derivatives Netherlands of Euronext Amsterdam.

Prins Claus Fund – 25-year anniversary

Today is the 25th anniversary of the foundation of the Prince Claus Fund. To celebrate this milestone, Ila Kasem, Chair of the Board of the Fund, sounded the gong at Beursplein 5 this morning. He was welcomed by Cees Colijn, HR Director of Euronext Amsterdam. The Prince Claus Fund was founded 25 years ago as a tribute to HRH Prince Claus of the Netherlands on his 70th birthday, and internationally supports, honours, and connects artists and cultural practitioners.

Finance Run 2021

Today, is the launch of the 8th edition of the Finance Run. The Finance Run is an annual running and networking event within the financial industry. The Finance Run will raise money for two charities this year: Kikid and Emma at Work. Marlies van Hilten, Director of Emma at Work, sounded the gong at Beursplein 5 this morning. She was welcomed by Anastasia Kremleva, Head of Operational Client Services at Euronext Amsterdam, and a participant in Finance Run 2021. 

Wereldhave N.V. – 75-years listed

First listed on 23 August 1946, Dutch real estate investment company Wereldhave N.V. celebrates its 75th anniversary on the Amsterdam exchange. Matthijs Storm, CEO of Wereldhave N.V., sounded the gong this morning to commemorate this milestone. He was welcomed by Alexander Voorham, Listing Account Manager at Euronext Amsterdam.

Blue Finance Challenge – UK Finals Winners

Apricus won the UK finals of the Blue Finance Challenge. Lottie Newell, Managing Director of Apricus, sounded the gong virtually to mark this occasion. Together with fellow students from Tiffin Girl’s School. Apricus is aiming to make fashionable clothes more sustainable and environmentally friendly. She was welcomed by Hanne Michiels, HR Officer at Euronext Amsterdam and Ambassador of the Blue Finance Challenge. The Blue Challenge is an international partnership between JA Europe and Euronext N.V. for young Blue Economy entrepreneurs.

New Amsterdam Invest – SPAC listing and first day of trading

Aren van Dam, Sponsor & Managing Director of New Amsterdam Invest, sounded the gong today on the occasion of the listing of New Amsterdam Invest, a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) with a focus on real estate assets. He was welcomed by Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam.

IEX Group N.V. – Welcome at Beursplein 5

This month, IEX Group N.V. celebrated the move of its headquarters, now located at Beursplein 5. Lucia Rodenburg, Editor at IEX, sounded the gong on this occasion. She was welcomed by Firos Joeman, Facilities Management at Euronext Amsterdam. IEX Group N.V. is a cross-media company and an information source for the private investor.

NEVIR Dutch IR Awards 2021

Yesterday, The Dutch Association for Investor Relations (NEVIR) awarded the 2021 Dutch IR Awards. On this occasion, Michel Aupers, Manager Investor Relations at Royal BAM Group and furthermore winner of the AScX IR Professional Award, sounded the gong. He was welcomed by Alexander Voorham, Account Manager Listing, at Euronext Amsterdam. NEVIR is the representative body and advocacy organization for Investor Relations Officers at Dutch listed companies.

Climate Transition Capital Acquisition 1 – Listing and first day of trading

This morning, Climate Transition Capital Acquisition 1, a SPAC with a strong focus on climate transition, listed on Euronext Amsterdam. Today we welcome on Euronext Amsterdam 3 new ESG ETFs in the Dividend Aristocrats family from @StateStreetETFs. The SPDR Dividend Aristocrats are amongst the largest Dividend ETFs in Europe and offer investors a combination of stable dividends from sustainable investments.

To celebrate the new share class on Euronext Amsterdam, Natalie Compagne, Marketing Manager of SPDR ETF’s, together with Marianne Aalders, Communication Manager Euronext Amsterdam, sounded the gong.

NX Filtration – Listing and first day of trading

Prof.Dr. Erik Roesink, Founder and CTO of NX Filtration, sounded the gong today to celebrate the IPO of NX Filtration. Launch education platform ‘Euronext Knowledge Centre’

Merel Koeleman sounded the gong for the launch of the Euronext Knowledge Center.

The Euronext Knowledge Centre is an online education platform developed for retail investors. With the Knowledge Center Euronext wants to contribute to improving the financial knowledge and skills for everyone who trades.
