Robeco Trends Investing

Jack Neele of Robeco Trends Investing sounds the gong today.

Robeco Trends Investing celebrates its ten-year anniversary after the change of the sector funds into trends & thematic funds in 2009. The flagship fund, Robeco Global Consumer Trends also celebrates a milestone after reaching EUR 3 billion in assets under management last month.

Jack Neele is portfolio manager of the fund since 2007 and redefined the existing strategy Robeco had launched in 1998. He took his technology background and wove it into the existing consumer equities fund to add more exposure to trends. He was joined by Richard Speetjens in 2010. Their approach has worked well as their portfolio returned more than double the worldwide reference index over the last 10 years. On a 3-year and 5-year basis the annual outperformance is 10% and 6% respectively.
