    Vanguard celebrates launch of new ETF suite

    Vanguard marked the launch of its new suite of global equity exchange-traded funds
    (ETF's) on Euronext Amsterdam today with a Gong ceremony. The new ETF's provide
    investors with broad access to international equity markets through diversified index
    solutions at low cost. This expansion increases Vanguard’s range of investment
    opportunities for investors and highlights the company’s commitment to supporting
    investors in achieving their long-term goals with straightforward, transparent and
    accessible investment products.
    Floris van Iersel, Sales Executive at Vanguard, had the honour of sounding the Gong to
    open the trading day. Guests were welcomed by Paul Noordam, Senior Sales Manager
    at Euronext Amsterdam.

    Wereldhave celebrates 80-year listing anniversary

    Wereldhave, the oldest listed real estate fund in the Netherlands, celebrates its 80-year listing anniversary. Since 23 August 1946, Wereldhave has been listed on Euronext Amsterdam. To mark this special milestone, CEO Matthijs Storm opened the Amsterdam exchange today during a festive Gong ceremony. The ceremony highlights eight decades of commitment to the Dutch real estate market and Wereldhave’s role as a leading fund. The group was welcomed by René van Vlerken, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam and by Christine van den Bos, Listing Director at Euronext Amsterdam.

    Almost exactly ten years ago, on 25 July 2016, a festive gong ceremony was held to mark the merger between Ahold N.V. and Delhaize Group, with the newly merged company Ahold Delhaize also being officially listed on the stock exchange. Today, this milestone is celebrated with a new gong ceremony, where Jolanda Poots-Bijl, CFO of Ahold Delhaize, will sound the Gong. The ceremony highlights a decade of successful collaboration, growth and stock exchange listing as a leading international food retailer.     ScholenStrijd winner sounds the Gong

    The Oranje Nassau College, Parkdeef located in Zoetermeer, was welcomed this morning by Euronext Amsterdam to sound the Gong as the winner of the 2026 ScholenStrijd spring competition. The ONC 4H Investors group achieved a return of 8.15 per cent, finishing top of the competition. Rens de Zwart had the honour of sounding the Gong on behalf of the winning group. The class and their teachers were welcomed by Yasir El Ouarrat, HR Officer at Euronext Amsterdam, and Henk Mulder from BeleggerUitlegger. ScholenStrijd is a digital investment competition in which thousands of students from across The Netherlands put their knowledge of investing and financial markets into practice. The initiative is part of BeleggerUitlegger, the educational platform of the Capital Amsterdam Foundation.
