 Launch of the EOE78 Foundation

This morning, Stichting EOE78 celebrated its launch with a Gong Ceremony at Euronext Amsterdam. The foundation aims to make knowledge of investing, options and derivatives accessible to a wider public and to improve financial literacy. In the run-up to 50 years of options trading in Europe in 2028, it will organise educational programmes, seminars and events.

The European Options Exchange (EOE) opened in Amsterdam on 4 April 1978 as the first options exchange in Europe. In 1997, the EOE merged with the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, and its options business has been part of what is now Euronext ever since.

André van Eerden, and Bob Out, Directors of EOE78, had the honour of sounding the Gong to open the trading day. The group was welcomed by Paul Noordam, Senior Sales Manager at Euronext Amsterdam.

Euronext viert World Mental Health Day

Vanochtend stond Euronext Amsterdam met een Gongceremonie op Beursplein 5 stil bij World Mental Health Day, dat op 10 oktober plaatsvond. De ceremonie maakte deel uit van een ochtendprogramma voor collega's rond welzijn op het werk, met een gezond ontbijt en een yogasessie.

Mentale gezondheid is een essentieel onderdeel van een inclusieve werkplek. Via het WellNext-programma ondersteunt Euronext collega's bij het zorgen voor hun fysieke en mentale welzijn.

Maite Hily-Houles, HR Business Partner bij Euronext Amsterdam had de eer de Gong te luiden ter opening van de handelsdag. De groep werd verwelkomd door het HR-team van Euronext Amsterdam.

All Options expands as options liquidity provider on Euronext

This morning, All Options celebrated a new step as an options liquidity provider on Euronext with a Gong Ceremony in Amsterdam. Already active on the Euronext derivatives markets, the company now also provides options liquidity in Milan and Oslo.

All Options is a leading market maker on options exchanges, with a growing presence in Europe and the US.

Anna Seliankina, Head of Performance at All Options, had the honour of sounding the Gong to open the trading day. The team was welcomed by Leon Mensink, Derivatives Sales Associate at Euronext Amsterdam.

polySCOUT celebrates official launch

This morning, polySCOUT sounded the Gong at Euronext Amsterdam to celebrate the company’s official launch. Originating from TNO, polySCOUT develops an AI-driven platform for designing advanced biobased polymers, with predictions validated through its proprietary laboratory process. The ceremony marks the beginning of polySCOUT’s journey as an independent company.

AMI Asset Management International Celebrates 10th anniversary

This morning, AMI sounded the Gong at Euronext Amsterdam to celebrate the company’s 10th anniversary. Since its founding, AMI has grown into an established asset manager, focused on supporting clients in achieving their financial objectives.

This morning, a Gong ceremony took place at Euronext Amsterdam to mark Diversity Day, organised by SER Diversiteit in Bedrijf. Under the theme "Connecting beyond Differences", this year's edition focused on strengthening connections between people with different backgrounds, perspectives and experiences in the workplace. The Diversity in Business Award was also presented to organisations that have made a meaningful contribution to fostering inclusive workplaces and equal opportunities.

UBS celebrates 25th ETF Anniversary

At Euronext Amsterdam, the gong was sounded this morning to celebrate the 25th anniversary of UBS ETFs. As part of a coordinated celebration, a simultaneous bell ceremony took place at Borsa Italiana in Milan on the same day, underscoring the pan-European significance of this milestone.

Yves van den Berk, ETF & Index Fund Sales Benelux at UBS Asset Management, sounded the gong to open the trading day. ING Corporate Sector Lending NL celebrates 20th Anniversary

This morning, the gong was sounded at Euronext Amsterdam to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ING Corporate Sector Lending NL. For two decades, ING CSL NL has played a key role in supporting listed corporations in the Netherlands. To mark this milestone, colleagues from across the organisation gathered at Beursplein 5 for a Gong ceremony.

Inauguration of the AEX Experience

This morning, the gong was sounded at Euronext Amsterdam to celebrate the official opening of the AEX Experience. From interactive investing simulations to a guided tour of the world’s oldest exchange, the AEX Experience enables students to discover how markets work, why they matter, and how financial decisions shape the economy around us. The reopening of this educational tour also celebrates Euronext’s commitment to making financial education accessible for future generations. Developed with Stichting Capital Amsterdam, the Euronext Foundation and Belegger Uitlegger, the AEX Experience brings theory and practice together inside Beursplein 5, inspiring young people to explore investing, understand risk and build financial confidence for the future. The guests, including a group of students, joined the inauguration and participated in the AEX Experience first-hand. 

We were honoured to have Joost Smits sounding the gong to open the trading day. Hogan Lovells Cadwalader celebrates 25 years in Amsterdam

This morning, Hogan Lovells Cadwalader sounded the Gong at Euronext Amsterdam to mark the 25th anniversary of its Amsterdam office. The ceremony also commemorated the merger of Hogan Lovells and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft on 1 July 2026. The occasion brought together the heritage of one of Wall Street’s oldest law firms with that of Amsterdam, home to the world’s oldest stock exchange.

IMC sounds the Gong for Summer Internship Programme

Wereldhave celebrates 80-year listing anniversary

Wereldhave, the oldest listed real estate fund in the Netherlands, celebrates its 80-year listing anniversary. Since 23 August 1946, Wereldhave has been listed on Euronext Amsterdam. To mark this special milestone, CEO Matthijs Storm opened the Amsterdam exchange today during a festive Gong ceremony. The ceremony highlights eight decades of commitment to the Dutch real estate market and Wereldhave’s role as a leading fund. The group was welcomed by René van Vlerken, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam and by Christine van den Bos, Listing Director at Euronext Amsterdam.

Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam sounds the Gong

Nguyen Van Thang, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Vietnam, sounded the Gong at Euronext Amsterdam together with a high-level Vietnamese delegation. The delegation includes Vice Ministers from the Ministry of Finance, representatives from the Central Bank, the Government Office, the Ministry of Public Security and the Chairperson of the State Securities Commission. This ceremony highlights the importance of cooperation between Vietnam and the Netherlands in the field of financial markets. Έναρξη Διαπραγμάτευσης Νέων Μετοχών της Aktor

Η Εuronext Athens υποδέχθηκε σήμερα τη Διοίκηση, στελέχη και συνεργάτες του Ομίλου Aktor με αφορμή την έναρξη διαπραγμάτευσης των νέων μετοχών της εταιρείας που προέκυψαν από την αύξηση του μετοχικού της κεφαλαίου. Ο Πρόεδρος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου και Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος του Ομίλου Aktor, Αλέξανδρος Εξάρχου, κήρυξε την έναρξη της σημερινής συνεδρίασης.

«H σημαντική υπερκάλυψη της αύξησης αλλά και η συμμετοχή ισχυρών διεθνών και εγχώριων επενδυτών αποτελούν σαφή ψήφο εμπιστοσύνης της επενδυτικής κοινότητας στις αναπτυξιακές προοπτικές του Ομίλου Aktor o οποίος θα ξεκινήσει την υλοποίηση ενός ευρέος επενδυτικού σχεδίου ύψους 3 δισ.  ευρώ για την ερχόμενη πενταετία. Ο Όμιλος Αktor, που φέτος κλείνει 25 χρόνια παρουσίας στην ελληνική χρηματιστηριακή αγορά, αποτελεί πλέον χαρακτηριστικό παράδειγμα εισηγμένης εταιρείας η οποία αξιοποιεί τη δυνατότητα χρηματοδότησης των αναπτυξιακών της στόχων μέσω των εργαλείων που προσφέρει το Χρηματιστήριο.
