BNP Paribas opens trading as partner of North Sea Jazz to mark the 40^th edition of the festival. CEO BNP Paribas The Netherlands, Anne Marie Verstraeten, sounds the gong.

North Sea Jazz, this year held for the 10^th time in the city of Rotterdam, is the largest indoor music festival in the world, known globally as the event where the past, present and future of jazz are featured within three days. Next to a firm base of jazz many genres will pass by, such as blues, soul, funk, hip hop, world, pop and more. To give an impression of forty years of North Sea Jazz history, the festival is presenting several iconic artists from each decade starting from 1976, including Stanley Clarke, Roy Hargrove, Bill Frisell, bassist Avishai Cohen and José James.
