Women in ETFS (WE) celebrates International Women’s Day with a sounding of the gong

Cyrille Verbeeten, Women in ETFs City Liaison Amsterdam, opens trading at Euronext Amsterdam.

Founded in January 2014, WE is a non-profit organization that brings together over 3,200 members, including women and men, in chapters in major financial centres across the United States, Canada, EMEA and Asia Pacific to further the careers of women by leveraging their collective skill and ambition. 

This year, Women in ETFs is proud to partner with UN Global Compact, Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative, UN Women, IFC, and The World Federation of Exchanges to host events across the globe during the week to raise awareness about the importance of gender equality for sustainable development and business. Bell ringing ceremonies will take place at over 30 exchanges globally and WE will lead events in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and Africa.
