Worldline is one of the European No. 1 providers of electronic payment and transactional services. Net sales break down by market as follows:
- banks and financial institutions (34.5%): issuing and management of credit and debit cards, acquisition and processing of electronic payment transactions, provision of online bank services, development of electronic wallet solution, sale of payment software, etc.;
- government businesses and entities (33.4%): e-ticketing services for public transport and railway companies, provision to traffic and parking automatic control solution to the authorities, development of digital services for governments and public companies (tax online collections management, cryptographic archiving services, fingerprints biometrics data collection and storage, etc.), provision of shared medical information digital services, etc.;
- retailers and distributors (32.1%): acquisition of payment orders, acceptance and management of online payments, sale and rental of payment terminals, sale of security modules for cryptographic purposes, provision of private payment cards, of commercial animation tools, and self-service terminals, management of loyalty programs, etc.
Net sales break down geographically as follows: France (36.4%), Belgium and the Netherlands (29.4%), the United Kingdom (13%), Germany/Central Europe/Eastern Europe (9.8%), Iberian Peninsula and Latin America (6 5%), Asia and India (4.9%).
